In addition to being recognized as a Changemaker campus, the University of San Diego has been honored with the following recognition:
Study Abroad Program
More than two-thirds of the University of San Diego’s undergraduate students participate in a wide range of study abroad programs. The university has been ranked among the top 10 schools in the nation for the past five years for the percentage of undergraduates participating in a study abroad program and, in 2015, earned the prestigious Sen. Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization.
At USD, sustainability is a way of life. The university has reduced its energy consumption by nearly 20 percent since 2010 and reduced its water consumption by 38 percent since 2006. USD is also recognized as one of the most sustainable campuses in the nation, earning a gold ranking from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
The Princeton Review has ranked USD among the most beautiful college campuses in the nation. USD's 180-acre space rests atop a mesa overlooking San Diego, Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The distinctive Spanish Renaissance architecture and breathtaking views provide an idyllic environment where our students can develop and thrive personally, intellectually and spiritually.
